Germany cancels quarantine restrictions for foreigners

The German Foreign Ministry has lifted all restrictions introduced since the outbreak of the coronavirus pandemic. However, since the situation with the epidemic in China is not stable, the entry restrictions will continue to apply to persons from this country, including German citizens.

Henceforth, it is possible to travel to Germany for any purpose, in particular for tourism, without a certificate of vaccination against coronavirus disease, certificates of its recovery from it, or without testing.

At the same time, entry restrictions will continue to apply to individuals from China, including German citizens. Because the situation with the epidemic in China is not satisfactory. Restrictions were temporarily removed, until 31 August. However, German officials do not exclude the possibility of their return in the event of an increased incidence.
