Goskomstat announced the number of small businesses in Uzbekistan

Compared to the corresponding period of 2016, the number of enterprises increased 2.2 times.

According to the State Statistics Committee, as of September 1, 2021, the number of operating small enterprises (excluding farms and dekhkan farms) was 462,303.

This is 2.2 times more compared to the corresponding period in 2016.

For comparison: the number of small businesses operating in the country over the years:
- In 2016 - 209 220;
- In 2017 - 231,147;
- In 2018 - 253,179;
- In 2019 - 318,304;
- In 2020 - 383 901;
- In 2021 - 462,303.
