Graduates of medical specialties can work full-time

A government decree "on improving the system of staffing of State medical institutions" has been adopted. In accordance with the decision, all medical universities, national specialized scientific-practical medical centres and graduates of master's degree and clinical ordination courses of the Centre for the Development of the Professional Qualifications of Medical Specialists may work in their specialties on a full-time basis.

Also in the Republic of Karakalpakstan, the regions and the city of Tashkent, as a probationary period in the academic year 2022/2023, family physicians, emergency doctors and doctors in sanitary departments may work up to full-time for graduates of all medical and higher education institutions in the fields of "medical science", "paediatric science" and "medical and preventive science".

In addition, students of all courses of "medical science", "pediatrics" and "medical and preventive science" learn the theoretical part of the subjects and practical classes remotely.

The Ministry of Health will identify the need for doctors and will place students in vacant positions in Surkhandarya region in the first phase from October 1, 2022, and in all regions in the second phase from November 1, 2022.
