Health insurance to be introduced in Tashkent and Navoi region

Minister of Health Amrillo Inoyatov provided information on which regions will introduce health insurance in 2023.

"As it is said in the address of President Oliy Majlis, starting from 2023 there are all opportunities for introduction of state system of medical insurance in the city of Tashkent. We are committed to establish health insurance in Navoi region as well," the minister said.

The minister said that for this purpose:

—The decision to implement the health insurance system will be worked out within one month;
—30 billion soums will be allocated to equip 72 polyclinics and 40 hospitals in Tashkent with computers and necessary medical equipment;

Mechanisms of the health insurance system will be implemented in the capital city from 1 July 2023.

In this:

—Medical facilities will be fully digitised;
—Each patient will have precise information on when, where and how to be treated.
