High-speed train to Khiva

It is noted that the railway reached the city of Khiva, which received the name “Open-Air Museum”, and a new station was launched. And in 2024, it is planned to bring the high-speed train to Khiva.

More than 100 modern service facilities will also be built along the highway between Urgench and Khiva.

And Urgench International Airport, which is the next in terms of passenger traffic from the capital's airport, will be reconstructed and converted into a major tourist transport hub in the next 2 years.

In addition to him, the construction of the town of Al-Khorezmi began in Urgench. In more than 130 hectares of the territory here, the Al-Khorezmi University and specialized school, the Al-Khorezmi Center, the majestic statue of our great-grandfather will be built.

Also, Technopark, production zone and offices, medical, innovation and cultural centers, schools and kindergartens, green spaces and alleys, sports complexes, parking, commercial and household buildings will be built here, and most importantly, 104 multi-storey modern houses for the population.

In his speech at the event, the president noted that in the next 5 years, new hotels and family guest houses will be established in the region, which will increase the number of foreign tourists by 10 times, that is, up to half a million.
