Historical silent films shot in Uzbekistan were shown in Paris

At the Institute of the Arab World in Paris, he defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic "The Road to Samarkand. As part of the cultural and educational program dedicated to the exhibition "silk and golden wonders", silent films "the leper" (1928) and "turn: his right" (1931), filmed in Uzbekistan, as well as a concert program were shown.

The screenings were presented by the director of the republican cinema and film critic Eljon Abbasov, head of the Film and Television Department of the Institute of Art History of the Academy of Sciences of Uzbekistan, Doctor of Art History Nigora Karimova.

At the cultural and educational evening, the program was presented by a musical group led by associate professor of the Yunus Rajabi National Institute of Musical Art of Uzbekistan Abror Zufarov.

The event, which was attended by more than 100 famous French directors and music lovers, was met with great interest by the French public. The cultural program was supported by the Foundation for the Development of Art and Culture under the Cabinet of Ministers of Uzbekistan.
