Hungary, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan: investment and trade cooperation

On April 28, 2022, a meeting on investment - trade and economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Hungary, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan was held under the chairmanship of the Deputy Prime Minister - Minister of Investment and Foreign Trade S.Umurzakov.

It was attended by heads of ministries, departments, industry associations, commercial banks, local authorities of the Republic of Karakalpakstan, regions and the city of Tashkent, heads of diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan in Hungary, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, as well as representatives of business circles directly cooperating with entrepreneurs.

It was noted that the high-level events held in 2021 with Hungary, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan were of great practical importance and effectiveness, which resulted in the adoption of the relevant "Road Maps".

In particular, the task was to inventory bilateral agreements with these countries, to hold additional talks with foreign partners to work on problematic issues, as well as to ensure the timely implementation of approved investment projects and provide practical assistance to their initiators.
