Identification of individuals is carried out by phone number

Decision No. 479 of the Cabinet of Ministers "On measures to introduce the Mobile-ID system of identification of individuals in the Republic of Uzbekistan" was adopted. With this document, the Regulation regulating identification, use of the system and cancellation of identification in the Mobile-ID system is approved.

According to him:

identification of a person using the Mobile-ID system at the request of a citizen by a public service center or a notary office (by photographing a citizen's face in digital format, taking an electronic fingerprint) or by the mobile application of the National Security Agency (the method of remote biometric identification of a citizen (Face-ID) or ID - by using the digital signature on the card);
identification of citizens in the Mobile-ID system directly through state service centers or a notary office will be carried out without charging a fee until December 31, 2022, and from January 1, 2023, a fee of 2 percent of the BHM will be charged. It is done free of charge when applying through the mobile application of SPIPS;
Users of the Mobile-ID system can use all government services without an electronic signature, except for financial services.
When a person is identified through the mobile application of the State Tax Service, the mobile number must belong to this person, and when the identification is carried out through a public service center or a notary, it is connected to any mobile phone number.
