Improving economic growth in Uzbekistan

The World Bank's economic review analyzes the current state of the economies of 23 countries in Europe and Central Asia and forecasts for socio-economic development in 2021-2022.
Accordingly, Uzbek economy will be able to overcome the crisis in 2021, despite the fact that due to the restrictions of the pandemic,it has partially slowed down.
According to the bank's experts, GDP growth will recover to 4.8% (previously 4.3%) in 2021. However, the growth rate may be affected by uncertainty related to the pace of global economic recovery and the success of the national vaccination campaign against COVID-19.
Bank experts suppose that in 2021 the GDP is expected to grow by 4.8%. However, these rates of economic growth may be affected by the pace of global economic recovery and unforeseen circumstances in the process of vaccination against COVID-19.
