In 2022, New Uzbekistan welcomes 29 new massifs

Shavkat Mirziyoyev, The President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Decree "On Measures to Build the New massifs of Uzbekistan and Ensure the Socio-economic Development of the Regions" on December 9.
Next year, the country will welcome 29 new "Uzbekistan" massifs, which will be introduced in high-demand places adjacent housing, district, and city centers.

The decree also envisages the construction of 619 high-rise structures in 29 localities, as well as 18 secondary schools, 24 kindergartens, and 15 medical facilities.

Entrepreneurs can purchase land plots for production, trading, and service facilities on a lease and property basis. Under this project, the state also shifted agricultural lands to the categories of "Settlement lands" and "Industrial lands." The project calls for the agricultural use of 489 hectares of low-yield land.
