In Istanbul, the delegations of the Foreign Ministries of the Turkic Council member states discussed the preparations for the next summit of the Turkic Council

In Istanbul, the 28th meeting of the Commission of Senior Officials of the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States ended.

Within two days, the delegations of the member states of the organization - Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Turkey and Uzbekistan, as well as the Secretariat of the Turkic Council, considered draft documents being worked out in preparation for the next CCTS Summit, which is planned to be held in November in Istanbul.

Particular attention during the meeting was paid to the implementation of the instructions of the heads of the CCTS member states arising from the provisions of the Turkestan Declaration of the Turkic Council of March 31, 2021.

On September 27, Istanbul hosted an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Turkic Council dedicated to the situation in Afghanistan, in which a delegation of Uzbekistan headed by Foreign Minister Abdulaziz Kamilov took part.
