In schools in Kyiv, it was decided to completely abandon the Russian language

It is reported that in schools in Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, the Russian language will be removed from science programs in the 2022/23 academic year.

According to the document, in educational programs for the 2022-2023 academic year in Kyiv, “the teaching of subjects in the Russian language and the study of the Russian language, both as a science and as a choice, are not provided.”

Also, according to reports, since 2014, a process has been underway in Ukraine to gradually squeeze the Russian language out of the educational sector. Also, after Russia began “a special military operation”, Ukraine is pursuing a policy of total Russification.

They included books in Russian, music, video, performances, concerts, cultural and educational services, etc. In addition, the authorities of the Lvov region also announced the complete abandonment of the Russian language in schools in the area.
