In the first half of the year, Uzbekistan's GDP grew by 6.2%

Following the results of the first half of the year, a video conference chaired by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev outlined specific measures to ensure sustainable economic growth in the regions and industries by the end of the year.

According to the president, over the past six months, the country's GDP has grown by 6.2%. This was due to the growth of industry by 8.5%, investment by 5.9% and services by 8%. The inflation rate was 10.9 percent.
