President of the Republic of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev congratulated the people of Uzbekistan on the holiday of Ramadan Hayit.

In his congratulatory message, the President noted that the holidays are a symbol of humanity, mercy, generosity and gratitude for our people. He emphasized that in recent years, a great deal of work has been carried out to revive and widely popularize the rich spiritual heritage of the people, to improve the sacred places associated with the names of our great ancestors.

Despite the difficult trials caused with the pandemic, the values of Ramadan are important – kindness and care for others, comprehensive support for those who need help, joint solution of many life problems overcomes all hardships.

The wise words of the famous Uzbek educator Mahmudkhoja Behbudi: "In order to fully live in this world and be equal to other peoples, we need secular knowledge and science along with spiritual values" – and today have not lost their relevance, the president noted.
