In Uzbekistan, citizens may be prohibited from storing some wild predators and poisonous animals

The state agency for Ecology and Environmental Protection discussed the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers “On additional measures for further improvement of the order of storage and use of wild animals”.
According to the draft document, in accordance with the legislative acts of Uzbekistan:
it is forbidden to come to the mass event with animals (except for their use in accordance with the mass event program);
multi-apartment houses, considered a common property of wild animals (except quail), are forbidden to be stored in staircases, loft, basement, hallways, as well as in public catering and commercial places;
the owners of wild animals are entrusted with the obligation to ensure the behavior of these animals, which does not cause uneasiness and does not pose a danger to those around them, to prevent damage to the Life, Health and property of citizens.
In accordance with the list approved by the state agency for Ecology and environmental protection since July 1, 2022, storage and use of wild predators and poisonous animals are prohibited.
In this case: the restrictions stipulated in the first paragraph of this paragraph do not apply to the storage and use of wild predators and poisonous animals by registered zoos, terrariums, Oceanarium, Dolphins and natural nurseries, as well as scientific and educational organizations for scientific and educational purposes.
In addition, the nursery for the storage and breeding of wild animals, as well as in cases prescribed by the State Committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, as well as , on the basis of a certificate of registration of zoological collections.
