In Uzbekistan, education credit up to 19.5 million UZS will be given to study IT-sphere

The government has approved a decision on allocation of educational credit for study of information technologies on the courses of study of non-state educational organizations.

According to the decision, educational credit:

    Up to 65 times the amount of the basic calculation (as of today -
    19 million 500 thousand UZS);
    at the basic rate of the Central Bank (currently 15 per cent);
    for 4 years with an annual grace period;
    up to 5,000 young people each year.

No collateral or guarantor is required for children of families on the "Single Register of Social Protection".
