In Uzbekistan, the implementation of payments by QR code is gaining popularity

According to the central bank, instant payments under the QR code for goods and services using mobile applications without the use of a bank card and payment terminal are gaining popularity in Uzbekistan.

"In 2021, the number of QR codes provided by the QR-online information system to business entities increased by almost 1.5 times compared to 2020 and reached 92 thousand," the data says.
