Indonesia expressed its readiness to organize a meeting between Putin and Zelensky

"Indonesia is interested in holding a meeting between the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine, Vladimir Putin and Vladimir Zelensky, within the framework of the G20 summit to be held in Bali on November 15-16," said the Ambassador of Indonesia to Russia, Jose Tavares.

"The President of Indonesia sent invitations to the Presidents of Russia and Ukraine a long time ago. If they participate in the G20 summit in Bali, there is certainly a possibility (to organize a meeting). Indonesia is ready to hold such a meeting, if the Presidents visit, we are definitely in favor of holding a meeting," he said.

Also, Tavares said, Indonesia is ready to reliably ensure the security of the Russian president if he personally participates in the G20 summit.

For information, the G20 summit will be held in the Indonesian island of Bali on November 15-16 in a face-to-face format. As Dmitry Peskov, the press secretary of the Russian President, said earlier, the decision on the full or absentee format of Putin's participation in the G20 summit in Indonesia has not yet been made.
