Inflation in Turkey fell for the first time in more than a year

According to official data released on December 5, inflation in Turkey fell in November for the first time in more than a year. The Turkish Statistical Institute reported that year-on-year consumer prices fell from 85.51 percent in October to 84.39 percent in November.
The monthly inflation rate in November was 2.88%, down from 3.51% in the previous month. Nevertheless, the rate remains close to its highest in 24 years.
