«InnoWeek.uz -2022» International Week of Innovative Ideas finished
On 21 October, the International Week of Innovative Ideas "InnoWeek -2022" ended its work. At the ceremony dedicated to the results of the week, the Minister of Innovative Development Ibrahim Abdurakhmanov made a speech, in which he thanked all our fellow countrymen, who contributed to the formation of the innovation ecosystem of our country, and wished them success in their future work.
During more than 120 B2B-meetings that were held during the week, 131 purchase contracts worth 46.2 billion sums and 25 sales contracts worth 6.6 million US dollars for the purchase of innovative products, as well as introduction of new developments and technologies were concluded.
18 investment contracts worth 78 million US dollars and 13 memorandums of cooperation worth 790 thousand US dollars were signed with local and foreign companies.
During the forum, 65 export contracts worth 16.3 billion sums and 3 export contracts worth 2.78 million US dollars were signed. Also, 6 memorandums and an agreement on cooperation with the Islamic Republic of Iran on implementation of transfer technologies were signed during the exhibition.
The 30 residents of the Innovation Technopark "Yashnobod" under the Ministry of Innovative Development have organised exhibitions of 80 types of innovative products and signed 22 contracts for innovative products worth 5.1 billion sums. At the same time, 2 investment contracts worth 7.5 million US dollars and 1 export contract worth 500 thousand US dollars have been signed during the exhibition.
During exhibitions 36 contracts at the amount of 20.3 billion sums and 14 export contracts at the amount of 9.4 thousand US dollars were signed. Also 11 investment agreements worth 32.55 million US dollars were reached.
Exhibition of start-up projects resulted in 11 local and 3 export contracts at total value of 370 thousand US dollars and 1 memorandum at total value of 3,2 billion sums.
Innovation projects of higher education institutions and scientific research institutions of Uzbekistan presented 215 kinds of innovative products and signed 37 contracts and memorandums to the total amount of 1.9 billion sums. Scientific organizations of the Academy of Sciences presented 55 types of new developments and innovative products and signed 19 contracts to a total value of 5.7 billion sums.
