International organization OSTIM plans to implement projects in Uzbekistan

Today the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan welcomed the delegation of the International Organization OSTIM that arrived on an official visit.

OSTIM is one of the leading industrial zones in Ankara, which has been a leader for over 50 years. Founded in 1967 by Cevat Dundar and a group of entrepreneurs, the organization currently has more than 6,200 enterprises in 139 directions and more than 60,000 employees in 17 sectors.

The main purpose of the visit is to strengthen cooperation with the Republic of Uzbekistan, ensure mutually beneficial cooperation, develop cluster infrastructure in Uzbekistan, as well as provide suggestions and assistance to the Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan in creating a Furniture Cluster in Ortachirchik district of Tashkent region.
OSTIM is an organization with extensive experience, existing OSTIM Technical University in Ankara.

In his interview, Orkhan Aydin, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Technical University, head of the delegation, noted that cooperation with Uzbekistan is mutually beneficial, and they also have the resources and capabilities to create a Furniture Cluster with the Furniture and Woodworking Industry Associations of the Republic of Uzbekistan. He proposed to create a branch of the Technical University OSTIM in the Republic of Uzbekistan.

The Association of Furniture and Woodworking Industry of the Republic of Uzbekistan announces its readiness to cooperate with the international organization OSTIM and jointly implement future projects.
