International trade fair of craftswomen from Turkic countries

Uzbekistan and Azerbaijan are preparing to hold the international exhibition-fair of Turkic craftswomen in Baku in early April.

With the support of our country's embassy, online talks were held between the head of the Namangan regional branch of the Hunarmand Association and the executive director of the Azerbaijan Women's Association to establish mutually beneficial cooperation.

It was noted that during the meeting the sides reaffirmed that establishing close cooperation between Uzbek and Azerbaijani artisans will have a positive impact on the dynamics of further development of interstate relations, including cultural and humanitarian exchange.

It has been noted that following the talks the sides reached agreement on joint preparation for an international exhibition and fair of handicrafts of Turkic countries to be held in Baku in early April. The event's programme includes familiarization of Azerbaijani population with culture and traditions of the event's participants, as well as B2B meetings of the delegation members.
