Internet speeds in countries around the world updated

The Ookla Speedtest service has updated its data on internet speeds in countries around the world as of January this year. It says the country with the highest average mobile internet speed in the world is now the United Arab Emirates with 161.15Mbps.
In terms of average broadband speed, Singapore leads the way with a speed of 234.55Mbps.
Also in the Speedtest, Uzbekistan "maintained" or did not change 122nd place among 138 countries with an average mobile internet speed of 13.61 Mbps.
Ukraine with the same internet speed moved up 6 positions from December 2022 to January 2023. Interestingly, a year ago, in January 2022, Uzbekistan's average mobile internet speed was 13.85Mbps and its ranking in the Speed Global Index was 115.
The results for broadband Internet or "wired Internet" are also poor. As of January 2023, the average wired Internet speed in Uzbekistan was 43.94 Mbps. Compared to the previous month, our country dropped 3 positions to 92nd place among 179 countries.
