Investors and doctors got acquainted with the activities of private clinics in Uzbekistan

Elviz Gasimov (Head of the Center for Orthopedics and Traumatology, Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy at the Baku Central Clinic), Ehtiram Guliyev (Chairman of the “Huner group”), and Dr. Koksal Holologlu (Founder and Chairman of the “Romatem” hospital network) got acquainted with the activities of private medical institutions in Tashkent, including the “Medion” clinic.

During the first dialogue, it was noted that the ongoing reforms in the health care system in Uzbekistan have become the main goal of public policy, a number of normative and legal documents have been adopted and systematic measures are being taken to comprehensively develop all areas.

In addition, it was stressed that the private sector of medicine is developing in the country as a result of the provision of additional conditions and benefits to private medical institutions by the head of state. The talks also focused on cooperation in staff development and exchange of experience.

Foreign experts expressed interest in opening a branch of the “Romatem” clinic in Uzbekistan, establishing a large rehabilitation center and investing in it, and invited a number of doctors to Turkey to exchange experiences.

Moreover, Elviz Gasimov, Head of the Center for Orthopedics and Traumatology, Sports Medicine and Physiotherapy at the Baku Central Clinic, invited Uzbek counterparts to Baku to get acquainted with the activities of the private medical sector and establish a number of practical partnerships.
