Iran and Uzbekistan: cooperation in the field of science, innovation and technology

Today, a delegation headed by Vice-President for Science and Technology of the Islamic Republic of Iran Soren Satori visited the Republic of Uzbekistan. The visit of Iranian guests is aimed at strengthening cooperation in the field of science, technology and innovation.
"The achievements of the two countries in the field of biotechnology, their common vision and desire for mutually beneficial cooperation deserve special attention," said the Vice President of Iran.
Also, Ibrahim Abdurakhmanov, Minister for Innovative Development of the Republic of Uzbekistan, said that following his trip to Iran in March, cooperation was established with more than 20 Iranian companies, research institutions and innovative infrastructure facilities operating in the scientific and innovative field. Based on this, he noted that Satori's visit to Uzbekistan will provide an opportunity to further expand this cooperation.
In addition, mutual interest was expressed in attracting Iranian high-tech innovative companies to expand activities in Uzbekistan and exchange experience and specialists with leading Uzbek industrial enterprises.
