Issues of bilateral cooperation between Uzbekistan and Russia discussed at RSUE

In particular, the issues of objective growth in the number of labor migrants and the construction of a nuclear power plant were considered.
The Rostov State Economic University (RGEU) hosted a round table on the topic “Uzbekistan and Russia at the present stage of cooperation”, dedicated to the current state and development of bilateral relations.
The event, organized by the Consulate General of our country in Rostov-on-Don, was attended by the heads of the consular corps, representatives of the government of the Rostov region, the representative office of the Russian Foreign Ministry, employees of universities, public figures, experts, teachers, graduate students and students of the Russian State University of Economics.
The desire of Tashkent to diversify the country's transport corridors in the southern and eastern directions was noted. Separately, large cooperation projects are indicated, including the Kandym Gas Processing Plant, the Tashkent Metallurgical Plant, the NMMC, the assembly of Rostselmash combines in the city of Chirchik, as well as the project for the construction of a nuclear power plant.
In the following question and answer session, those present were informed about the development of programs for the study of the Russian language in Uzbekistan, the intensification of social and educational activities in Russia on the issue of an objective increase in the number of labor migrants from Uzbekistan and other Central Asian countries.
At the end, the quiz "Interesting facts about Uzbekistan" was held, prepared by the students of the Department of International Relations of the Russian State University of Economics, as a result of which active students were presented with memorable souvenirs of the Consulate General of our country.
