Issues of cooperation between the regions of Uzbekistan and the city of Kobe discussed in Japan

The Ambassador of Uzbekistan Mukhsinkhuzha Abdurakhmonov paid a working visit to the Japanese city of Kobe.

During the trip, meetings and negotiations were held with the mayor of the city of Hisamoto Kizo and the heads of economic organizations responsible for foreign economic relations, headed by the Director General of the Japan Foreign Trade Organization (JETRO) of the city of Kobe, Nozawa Takura.

At a meeting with the head of Kobe, Hisamoto Kizo, prospects for trade, economic and humanitarian cooperation were discussed, the investment potential of Uzbekistan, large-scale reforms carried out in our country and achievements in all spheres of life over the past four years were presented.

The Mayor noted with satisfaction that there is a great interest in cooperation with Uzbekistan in attracting small and medium-sized businesses of the city of Kobe for doing business and implementing joint projects in Uzbekistan on the example of companies in the city of Nagoya.

The issues of establishing cooperation in the field of tourism and coverage of the rich historical heritage of the cities of Samarkand, Bukhara, Khiva, Kokand for residents of the city of Kobe were also discussed. In addition, the issues of establishing ties with the University of Kobe and educational institutions of Uzbekistan were discussed, the mayor of the city of Kobe Hisamoto Kizo assured of his personal support for this cooperation and promised to assist in establishing contacts.
