It has been 126 years since the Olympic Games were reborn

Today is a historic date. 126 years ago, on April 6, 1896, the first Olympic Games began in Athens, the capital of modern Greece.
It is because of this historic event that this date has been recognized as the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace. Among the descriptions of sports by Baron Pierre de Coubertin, the founder of the modern Olympic Games, the phrase "O sport, you are peace" is still confirmed.
Indeed, sport is a force that gives the whole world a breath of peace. We have even heard of wars in Greece during the ancient Olympic Games.
On August 23, 2013, the United Nations General Assembly unanimously decided to celebrate April 6 as the International Day of Sport for Development and Peace.
