Jeff Bezos wants to do charity for the first time

One of the richest men in the world, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos announced his intention to give away most of his fortune to charity. The businessman's fortune is now estimated at $124 billion, and he is number four on Forbes' global list.
Amazon founder and billionaire Jeff Bezos promised for the first time to give away most of his fortune to charity. Bezos said this in an interview with CNN. He declined to name a specific portion of the capital he plans to spend and possible recipients of the money.
Bezos said he intended to donate the money while he was still alive rather than leave it as a bequest. Bezos will devote much of the capital to fighting climate change and supporting people who can "unite humanity in the face of profound social and political division."
