Joe Biden visits Saudi Arabia

The White House leader will hold talks in Riyadh on 15-16 July.

The visit of the US President to Saudi Arabia is important in Washington's opposition to Beijing and Moscow. This was reported by Joseph Biden.

"A more secure and United Middle East will bring benefits to Americans in many areas. Its waterways are the supply chains we rely on and are crucial in international trade. The energy resources of the region are extremely necessary to mitigate the post – conflict situation in Russia and Ukraine,” the head of the White House said.

He added that many are dissatisfied with his visit to Saudi Arabia. But the president believes that this is of great strategic importance. Biden stressed the need for stability in the most important region of the world in its resistance and competition with Russia and China.

“To carry out these tasks, it is necessary to cooperate with countries that can influence the processes in the region. Saudi Arabia is one of such countries,” the US leader noted.
