Journalist’s rights, honor and dignity are protected by law

A journalist can be accredited by a state body, public association or organization.

An accredited journalist enables the following rights:

receiving advance information on open board meetings and other public events;

access to the premises (rooms) and other facilities of the accrediting body in the manner prescribed by the accrediting body;

participating at open board meetings and other public events;

requesting and receiving the necessary documents and materials from the officials of the accrediting body, get acquainted with the records of public events and obtain copies from them;

using the obtained records in the preparation of media materials.

The state guarantees the free access and dissemination of information to journalists, and protects him or her in carrying professional activities.
