Kazakhstan and China to introduce visa-free regime

An agreement on exemption from mutual visa requirements will be signed between the governments of Kazakhstan and China. This is stated in the draft resolution signed by the Prime Minister of Kazakhstan Alikhan Smailov.
It is noted that this agreement will be signed within the framework of the state visit of the President of Kazakhstan to the People's Republic of China.
According to the agreement, Kazakhstanis can stay in China without a visa, and its citizens can stay in Kazakhstan no more than 30 days from the moment of crossing the border and no more than 90 days for up to 180 days.
However, if citizens of one of the parties intend to stay in the territory of the State of the other party for more than 30 days, they must apply for an appropriate visa before entering the territory of the state.
