Kazakhstan has restricted exports of wheat and flour

The Kazakh Ministry of Agriculture has stated that the restrictive measures will take effect within two weeks and will be in force until June 15, 2022.

The main buyers of Kazakh wheat (90%) are Uzbekistan, Afghanistan, Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan.

"After the entry into force of the order, until June 15, 2022, the export of wheat and flour will be carried out within the approved quotas: wheat - up to 1 million tons, flour products - 300 thousand tons". said the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan.
