Khorezm acting khokim appointed

At a meeting of activists in Urgench, Prime Minister Abdulla Aripov and Presidential Administration Head Sardor Umurzakov introduced Jurabek Rakhimov as the region's new acting Khokim.

This was reported by a source in Bright Uzbekistan.

Jurabek Rakhimov previously served as khokim of Koshkupir District, Khorezm Region.

Jurabek Rakhimov was born in 1981 in Shovot District, Khorezm Oblast. He is a member of the Liberal Democratic Party of Uzbekistan.

Earlier, Farkhad Ermanov was dismissed as Khorezm region khokim by presidential decree.

He was approved by the Jogorku Kenesh of the Republic of Karakalpakstan as chairman of the Council of Ministers of Karakalpakstan.
