Kozimjon Kamilov was re-elected as Chairman of the Supreme Court

Currently, the 27th plenary session of the Senate is underway. Meeting considered the issue of electing the Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

Senators expressed their views and opinions to the candidate on the problems in the judiciary and the work that needs to be done to address at the gathering.

Following the discussions, Kozimjon Fazilovich Kamilov was re-elected Chairman of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Uzbekistan for an indefinite period of five years. The relevant resolution of the Senate was adopted.

P.S: In 2017, KozimjOn Kamilov was elected to this post for the first time. Prior to that, in August 2013, he was appointed Chairman of the Supreme Economic Court.
