Large industrial projects worth 2 billion dollars have been launched in Navoi over the past three years

Navoi city hosts session of Navoi regional Kengash of people's deputies. President Shavkat Mirziyoyev takes part in it.

At the beginning of his speech, the head of state expressed his deep respect for the working, tolerant, multinational residents of the region.

In Navoi, it was noted that major industrial projects worth 2 billion dollars have been launched in the last three years.

As a result more than 10 thousand new jobs were created, additional 1 trillion soums of tax revenues per year and $100 million of exports.

The recently launched Balpan-togʼ and Balpan-tog' deposits produce more than 3 million tons of gold-rich ore a year.

Also, a $130 million project to expand the Turbay deposit is about to be launched at the Navoi Mining and Metallurgical Combine. A $275 million gold processing project is being implemented at the Pistali deposit.

A potassium nitrate project worth 35 million dollars is being implemented at Karman, a construction materials project worth 10 million dollars at Kyzyltepe, and a phosphorite project worth 70 million dollars at Tomdi.

Next year, such projects as the production of potassium sulfate, polyacrylic fiber, dry salt of cyanide worth 140 million dollars will be launched.
