Lavrov will arrive in Uzbekistan

On April 14, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov will take part in a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS member states, which will be held in Samarkand. This was announced by the official representative of the Ministry Maria Zakharova.

She noted that during the meeting the foreign ministers would exchange views on topical international and regional issues. Promising directions for the development of multilateral cooperation in the Commonwealth format are discussed. The results of cooperation between the ministries in 2022 will also be summed up.

For information, another international event will be held in Samarkand on April 13-14. On April 13, a meeting on Afghanistan will be held with the participation of the ministers of the states of Central Asia and the Russian Federation, and on April 14, the Council of Foreign Ministers of the CIS.
