«Made in Uzbekistan» at Green Week in Berlin

These days Berlin, the capital city of Germany, is hosting the annual International Agricultural Fair "Green Week 2023". This is the 87th edition of the fair and is organized by Messe Berlin GmbH.

In cooperation with the Ministry of Agriculture, the Chamber of Commerce and Industry, our Embassy in Germany and Uzexpomarkaz, agricultural potential of the Republic of Uzbekistan is presented at the exhibition by a number of large foreign trade companies as well as farms from different regions of our republic presenting their products at the single national stand.

The national stand of Uzbekistan, under the motto "Made in Uzbekistan", with a total area of over 240 square meters, displays a wide range of fresh fruits, vegetables and melons, dried fruits, fat and wine products, spices, seasonings, and processed products such as juices, jams and various canned foods.

The official delegation, which includes representatives of regional khokimiyats, farmers, peanut producers and exporters, is headed by Agriculture Minister Aziz Voitov.

On the opening day of the exhibition, German Federal Minister of Food and Agriculture Cem Ozdemir and Ruling Burgomaster of Berlin Franziska Giffay visited Uzbekistan's stand.

As part of the visit to the German capital, the members of the Uzbek delegation are scheduled to meet and hold talks with agrarian ministers from France, Canada, Turkey, Poland, Hungary, the Netherlands, Latvia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Bavaria and other states, as well as representatives of leading European agricultural companies and associations. In addition, the head of the Uzbek delegation will take part in the 15th Berlin Conference of Ministers of Agriculture on agricultural development and water use.
