«Made in Uzbekistan» business mission will be held in Latvia

The Export Promotion Agency under the Ministry of Investments and Foreign Trade of Uzbekistan, with the support of the embassy of our country in Latvia, will organize the first "Made in Uzbekistan" business mission in Riga on September 12-13.
Latvia is one of the important partners of Uzbekistan in the countries of the European Union and constantly supports the multifaceted development of both bilateral and multilateral cooperation. In 2021, the volume of foreign trade between our countries amounted to 116 million US dollars, including export - 49.3 million dollars, import - 66.7 million dollars.
The main goal of the business mission is to further strengthen relations, increase the volume of bilateral trade and open new prospects for cooperation between Uzbekistan and Latvia. In addition, the event is aimed at demonstrating the tourism potential and cultural heritage of our country.
The delegation of the trade mission includes 46 export-oriented subjects of local entrepreneurship in the fields of agriculture, food, textiles, leather-shoes, pharmaceuticals, chemistry, and metallurgy, as well as representatives of large associations.
Also, as part of the business mission, presentations on the export potential, investment potential and tourist attractiveness of our country's industrial sectors will be held, in which representatives of Latvian business circles will get an idea of the current economic development of Uzbekistan.
