Mass media pay income tax at 50 per cent reduced rate

According to the legislation, until 1 July 2025, media outlets will pay income tax at a tax rate that is reduced by 50 per cent compared to the statutory tax rates. This does not include media outlets that are of an advertising character.

Imported printing equipment, modern photo and radio-television equipment and paper that is not produced in Uzbekistan and imported according to a list formed in accordance with the established procedure is exempt from customs duty.
