Measures are being taken to implement 40 investment projects with a total value of 5 billion dollars

Today, August 2, a regular meeting of the Commission of the Senate of the Oliy Majlis on cooperation with the National Assembly of the Republic of Korea was held in the Senate building.

At the meeting, it was noted that a number of works were carried out within the framework of the agreements reached at the highest level with the Republic of Korea.

Measures are being taken to implement 40 investment projects with a total value of $ 5 billion. Consequently, 22 network schedules for the implementation of investment projects are approved, the remaining 18 are provided for approval after agreement with the Korean side.

During the event, it was criticized by senators that some of the tasks set in the “road maps” were not implemented on time.

In particular, in the “road maps”, 5 of the tasks in a total of 116 points were completed, 77 were completed on time, and the execution of 34 (29 percent) was delayed.

Detailed information was heard from the heads of the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Ministry of Culture, the state committee for Ecology and Environmental Protection, the Association “Uztoqimaliksanoat”, the administration of the Jizzakh region and other organizations that approached the execution of “road maps” irresponsibly.
