Meeting between the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Estonia to Uzbekistan

On March 28, the Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Uzbekistan D.Vahabov met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia to the Republic of Uzbekistan Toomas Tirs, located in Nur-Sultan.

The issues of bilateral trade, economic and investment cooperation, as well as strengthening business ties between Uzbekistan and Estonia were discussed at the meeting.

During the meeting, the foreign side was informed about the economic opportunities and investment potential of our country. Special attention was paid to the attention paid to the development of information technology in our country.

They also noted the need for cooperation in the field of textile industry, information technology, agriculture. In turn, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Estonia T. Tirs noted that in recent years there has been a positive trend in relations between Estonia and Uzbekistan.

Relations in the economic and cultural spheres have significantly intensified.
He also noted that the strengthening of business ties and the development of economic ties in general, requires the cooperation of the Chambers of Commerce and Industry of the two countries, and that the organizations are the main platform for businessmen of the two countries.
