Meeting with entrepreneurs working in the field of Tourism and hospitality

Today, August 15, the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Uzbekistan organized a meeting with entrepreneurs operating in this field in order to study the problems of business entities operating in the fields of Tourism and hospitality and develop specific mechanisms for their solutions.

It was attended by the Ministry of Tourism and cultural heritage, the Department of coordination of ensuring safe tourism of the Mia, the State Tax Committee and leading entrepreneurs in the field of Tourism.

Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and industry of Uzbekistan D.A.Vakhobov noted that to date, in order to comprehensively support entrepreneurs operating in the tourism industry, to find a systematic solution to the problems that afflict them, and to study their proposals, a committee on tourism issues was established under the Chamber of Commerce and industry, which operates on the basis of a completely new mechanism.

This committee constantly cooperates with entrepreneurs and prepares proposals for the government to solve existing problems in the field. If the world experience is given attention, this system has been able to justify itself with positive results.

Also under the committee, an Expert Council was created, consisting of entrepreneurs with long-term experience in the industry, and 25 entrepreneurs were involved in it. This council plays an important role in the development of final proposals by carrying out preliminary systematic and analytical assessments in order to find a quick solution to the problems of entrepreneurs.
