Meeting with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kazakhstan

Today, March 3, Abdulaziz Kamilov, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Uzbekistan, met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan Mukhtor Tleuberdi.

The foreign ministers canvassed topical issues of Uzbek-Kazakh allied relations in the political, commercial, economic, transport and transit, hydropower, cultural and humanitarian spheres.

Importance of opportune and full implementation of the agreements reached during the summits was stressed.

The schedule of future events, including the celebration of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic bonds between the two countries (November 23, 1992), was addressed.

P.S: Deputy Prime Minister of Kazakhstan, Minister of Foreign Affairs Mukhtor Tleuberdi has visited Tashkent to participate in a high-level international conference "Regional Cooperation between Central Asian States in the framework of the Joint Action Plan to Implement the UN Global Counter-Terrorism Strategy".
