Mercedes will start producing a fully electric car by 2030

By 2030, Mercedes will stop producing cars on internal combustion engines and start producing electric cars entirely.

This is stated in the release of Daimler, which owns the famous brand.

From 2025, all Mercedes models will be powered by electricity. But over the next five years, the company’s plants will also continue to produce older models equipped with internal combustion engines.

The company also plans to build eight new batteries for electric vehicles around the world and create a global network of charging stations. Mercedes has allocated 40 billion euros for these purposes.
