Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan meets with state and ministerial stipend holders

Today, February 11, Minister of Agriculture of Uzbekistan Aziz Voitov met with holders of state and ministerial stipends of higher education institutions of agricultural system. During the meeting, an award ceremony was held for the stipend holders.

Stipend holders from Tashkent State Agrarian University, Institute of Agriculture and Agro-technology of Karakalpakstan, Samarkand branch of Tashkent State Agrarian University, Andijan Institute of Agriculture and Agro-technology, International Agricultural University and Termez Institute of Agricultural Technology and Innovative Development participated in this free and friendly meeting.

Today, a total of 29,032 students are enrolled at these institutions of higher learning. 27,730 of them are studying at bachelor's level and 1,302 at master's level.

This year, 116 students and young people from institutions of higher education subordinate to the Ministry participated in the scholarship competition of the Ministry of Agriculture, which was held for the first time and was established for students and masters. it was a two-stage competition. As a result, the committee decided that 16 participants won the final stage and became recipients of a scholarship from the Ministry of Agriculture.
