Minister of Innovative Development elected advisor to International Association of Cotton Researchers

A delegation from the Ministry of Innovative Development attended the World Conference on Cotton Research on 6 October in Cairo, Egypt. During the conference, Minister Ibrohim Abdurahmonov was elected advisor to the International Association of Cotton Researchers.

Minister of Innovative Development Ibrohim Abdurahmonov was among the world's leading cotton scientists and specialists attending the World Cotton Research Conference, which is held every four years, and delivered a presentation on "Innovations Leading to Change in Cotton Research". He spoke about the work and reforms currently being carried out in Uzbekistan in this field, the activities of the Presidential Cotton Council and the achievements in the field of cotton genetic engineering.

Also during the event, Ibrohim Abdurahmonov met leading experts and scientists of the industry and invited them to cooperate with Uzbekistan.

Previously, Ibrohim Abdurahmonov was a member of the Executive Committee of the Association. This position was established for his research in the field of cotton and his contribution to the development of the industry.
