Moderna vaccine delivered to our republic

Uzbekistan received 3 million doses of Moderna vaccine on the night of July 30, donated under the COVAX program by the United States government.

The vaccines were delivered to Tashkent on a special flight from Alabama.

It is worth noting that the vaccine developed by Moderna provides 90% protection against infection. There is a chance of contracting coronavirus in people vaccinated with this vaccine. But they have a mild illness, there are no complications.
