More than 200 million Twitter users' data put up for sale

According to Reuters, the email addresses of more than 200 million Twitter users were stolen and put up for sale on a hacking forum on 5 January. It is noted that the hack is one of the largest hacks in social media history.
This hack took place in 2021, that is, before Ilon Musk owned the company. The stolen database is for sale.
According to the publication, this serious breach in Twitter's security could be of interest to regulators on both sides of the Atlantic. The Irish Data Protection Commission and the US Federal Trade Commission are monitoring Twitter's compliance with European and US data protection regulations respectively.
P.S. Elon Musk's European headquarters is in Ireland.
