More than 5 million citizens have left Ukraine

The number of Ukrainians arriving in neighboring countries has exceeded 5 million. The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees said this based on information from various sources on the situation with the migration crisis in Ukraine.

According to the UN High Commissioner for Refugees, 5 million 34 thousand 439 Ukrainians left for neighboring countries between February 24 and April 19, more than half of whom arrived in Poland.

Thus, 2,825,463 Ukrainians crossed the border from Poland, 757,047 from Romania, 549,805 from Russia, 471,080 from Hungary, 426,964 from Moldova, 342,813 from Slovakia and 23,7109 from Belarus.

In addition, from February 18 to February 23, 2022, 105 thousand people from Donetsk and Luhansk regions of Ukraine fled to Russia.
